The Cottonarts story!

In a Nutshell; COTTONARTS graduated in 2006 with an BA Hons degree in Fine Arts.
Along side full time work as a photographer, COTTONARTS continued to sew and create bags.
In 2007, COTTONARTS Joined another part time artist and ran a small quirky boutique and studio, situated in the Elsecar heritage Centre.
In the early months of 2009 COTTONARTS was made redundant as a photographer, and made a conscious decision to take her part time passion, and to go full time and develop her brand, COTTONARTS!

COTTONARTS is Barnsley based full time artist and creator, Jilly Gough.
COTTONARTS aims to help each person keep their individuality, not to follow the fashion but to follow and create your own image. To buy a piece of COTTONARTS is to own something unique to you.
The design of these handmade items stems from a passionate, genuine ambition to create individuality. One designer, hand crafting each piece ensures an exclusive and unique collection.
